If I made titles for my updates today's would be ....
BOMBS AWAY !!!
At 3pm it was pouring rain ... and I was asleep

The phone rang waking me up .
I ignored it as it was Moe calling me from his work to check and see if there would
be batting practice. No chance .
Later on I awoke to sunshine ... bright ... not a cloud in the sky sunshine . For a
moment I panicked and thought I had slept through the whole night missing the
game and work . Its 4:30 pm .. or was it am ? ... lol No, It was still pm

... I
glanced at the web-cam and watched as the field was being prepared for bp. I
couldn't believe it .. and the wind was straight out at 20 + mph . And then I thought
..ugh oh ... I'm in trouble !
No way Moe would leave work with all that rain that afternoon .... not before first
talking to me. And he didn't , missing batting practice and the game . Don't worry
Moe ... you didn't miss much .... lol. Sorry !
By the time I arrived 4 balls were out ...then a minute later a window was shattered
on the house formerly known as the Budweiser House . By the time the big boys on
the Braves came up ... 8 balls had hit Waveland . Then it got ridiculous . From 30 feet
foul to almost deed center balls were leaving the yard. About a dozen in that one group
of hitters that included Uggla. One ball landed on the roof of the yellow brick building
in straight away left ... something Ive never seen in bp and of course only once in a game
when Glenallen Hill did it . Another off 2 cars parking about 470 ft away from home plate !
Balls were flying over my head and bouncing 6 houses down Kenmore .
I repositioned myself on Kenmore 2 car lengths down and still 3 balls sailed over my head
by 20 feet . Going by the Sammy Sosa 536 ft clout which is marked on the pavement , Id
estimate these balls traveled 490-510 ft . Mikey beat me to at least three , and including
a toss out ended up the days leader with 7 . George and Rich got their fair share , and out-
side of Nick who LEFT ?? !!! ( something about a chick ? ..lol ) there were no other ballhawks
on the corner . Quite a fun and exhausting batting practice.
I have plenty of video , but trust me .. its a lot of me running 100 ft sprints . Ill post some
video of the catches later if they turn out
